Mahatma Gandhi

Dear Friends,
what goes through my mind is:
The world has never seen and experienced a greater giant than Mahatma Gandhi among human born.
We all walk our paths in our lives, sometimes ambling left, sometimes right, but always wandering on. On our journeys we often get bogged down, we stagger, we stumble - and we always straighten up again.
Mahatma Gandhi was a man of small stature, less than six feet tall. For most of his life, he wandered India, preaching and wearing only a loincloth. He was truly the "minimalization of life."
How did this small, unassuming man manage to take an entire subcontinent from the English?
Through his strong belief in truth. Through his simple honesty. Through his hope and trust in heaven.
Mahatma Gandhi had faults as we all have them. He was at times undiscerning, rash, and unjust. But he ALWAYS kept his faith in wanting to be better.
Gandhiji - I love and adore you.
I ask all of us to keep this faith in us as well: To want to become better.
The world does not need us - but we need the world.
