brah: we had debates yesterday evening... Germany is ahead of election on February 23rd... It's Autocrats versus Democrats. Our (left-wing) Chancellor reminded the US and China, that Europe has got 450 million people and will stand for democracy, that's what HE's (and me) is working on

brah: you are not a bad person while only being rich, yes. Look, what Ted Turner (CNN) did - he gave 1 billion dollars to united nations, while the US didn't pay their debts to United Nations
g: I think it was in Norway they had introduced a wealth tax..expecting to make 100 million dollars in addition to their tax target
g: instead they lost close to 500 million dollars....similar stories of things like that happening in other places e.g California
brah: haven't heard of that, g, I will look it up, thank you! :-) What happened in Davos, Switzerland to World Economic Forum was, that Greenpeace activists blocked the helicopter landing place for the superrich.

g: It might not be fair that they tax the income of regular people and rich people on their returns but exempting rich people from some taxes can also have advantages
g They can choose to invest their money somewhere else
brah: no way, g, in my (current) opinion. Superrich do invest for their OWN wealth, regularly.
